Box Tech for Fans, Double Staff, & Beyond!

All Levels - Beginner thru Advanced!

Box Tech is a style that can be easily applied to any static prop, especially two-handed props, including but not limited to: fans, double staff, and mini hoops. So bring any or all of them! This class is for brand-new beginners to advanced spinners, and everything in between. No matter what level you are at, you will add something completely new and thought-provoking to your current style from this class.

Tricks Students Will Learn:

• Iso-Boxes – (tog, same, opposite point, figure 8, split same)
• Iso-Points
• Infinite L’s
• Layering
• Floating
• Continuous I relation 90° boxes
• Sluicegates
• Russ’s Ladder
• Smooth transitions between all of these

We will have extra props to share in class, and there is a Double Staff Prop Package available from Nimbus Prop Art for $70 with your ticket purchase.

About the Instructor

Tippy has been a flow artist since 2010, when she was gifted her first homemade hula hoop from her best friend. Since then, she has celebrated her passion for fire and flow all over the world, in places such as: Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, Burning Man, Hungary, Holland, and South Africa. When she’s not hurling props wildly around her body, she is a science writer for NASA Headquarters in Washington DC.
