Topics in Poi--an a la carte series of 1-hour Poi workshops over topics for beginners, advanced spinners, and everyone in between!

Each class is available for $30 or all 3 can be attended for $75 ($25/class)

Body Tracers 101

Body tracers are sleek and sexy! In this class I'll teach you the basics of how you can turn linear isolations and lines along your body into a sinuous dance between your poi and limbs. We will cover the basics of snakes and body tracing hybrids as well as how you can make up your own!

The Art of Prop Performance

Performance doesn't just have to be your three favorite tricks in front of a crowd of people--you can say something with it. This class applies a lot of the lessons I've learned in the modern dance world over the course of the past three years to make performances with any prop move beyond trick showcases to statements by the choreographer. Come learn to tell a story or share an idea through your craft!

Poi Dance Master Class

Turn your body into a work of art! I’ve spent the past 2 years working on integrating the worlds of contemporary modern dance and poi spinning and I’d love to teach you what I know. We’ll cover my philosophy on momentum, suspensions, and finish it all off with some phrasework.
